What people are saying.

  • The strength programs are different from any other program I’ve been apart of and are tailored around an individual athletes in and out of season needs. One of the best pieces of the program is the ability to use minimal equipment and explore what your body can do just through movement. Another great piece is the ability to modify and adjust easily within season so you’re not fatigued and ready for each game.

    — Alex Mihalakis, Long Beach State, Mission College, Minnetonka HS

  • It's easily the highest caliber of baseball instruction/training that one can find on a full tank of gas. It also comes with with free side dish of life/attitude mentorship.

    — Jacob Weir, DCTC, Waconia HS

  • The entire staff was engaged and engaging with both my sons. Great team of instructors who really care. I have and will continue to recommend MacStrength.

    — Lenny Checheris, Chanhassen MN

  • I love having a program where I can ask questions specifically for me, instead of just a “team program.”

    — Wyatt Ulrich, Sioux Falls Canaries

  • It is super fun in a safe and welcoming environment. I have seen a lot of results for better hitting and fielding.

    — Griffin Hanson, St. Louis Park HS

  • I have not only gained skill at the plate and in the field, but I've gained a tremendous amount of confidence. I enjoy being a part of this organization because they put the athlete first.

    — Nick Briden Jr, Holy Family HS

  • I always like the community that Macstrength has between the players themselves and the interpersonal relationships which the Macstrength staff have with each individual player. I feel like I have made big progress with both my hitting power and consistency, leading to an overall better swing.

    — Cullen Kelly, Edina HS

  • Macstrength has a family feeling to it, one of my favorite memories of my senior year was finishing school and heading over the MS to lift and hit baseballs with some of my best friends. It was my first experience lifting weights, a lot of what I learned at MS I still use at college today as far as my mechanics in lifting and the approach I take. As far as benefits I gained a decent amount of weight as well as just got overall stronger.

    — Wyatt Nelson, St. Thomas University, NDSU, Hopkins HS

  • I loved lifting with the guys. I felt that I have made more improvements in my one year at Mac strength than my college career.

    — Kam Larson, St. Scholastica, Chaska HS

  • I like the culture that is shown at MacStrength. I have seen lots of improvement in my skills wether it’s in the weight room or on the field. I’ve seen lots of improvement especially with my hitting.

    — Grant Hallman, University of Sioux Falls, Chaska HS

  • Went from hitting to outfielders to hitting it over outfielders in one off season. Knowing what you’re doing wrong without having someone to tell you. Learning how to be a tough out at the plate.

    — Mitchell Cummins, DMACC, Chanhasen HS

  • Things that can be made incredibly difficult get distilled into simple, comprehensible suggestions. MacStrength's staff do a phenomenal job of coaching you so that you learn and develop without getting caught up in the weeds of mechanics. I’ve even found that my mechanics and my understanding of them have improved greatly by focusing on being an athlete instead of a technician.

    — Caidan Moore, Minnehaha Academy

  • I have created a strong relationship with friends and also the coaches and they have helped me so much the past 4 years. I have seen a huge improvement on the field hitting and also pitching. Last fall I hit .375 and am currently throwing 90. I wasn’t even close to those numbers before training at MacStrength.

    — Blake Eiden, University of MN Duluth, Chanhassen HS

  • As an athlete, you get pushed towards your upmost potential. Coaches are dedicated in providing support and training for every athlete. I’ve loved the relationships I’ve made with both athletes and coaches throughout my time. Nowhere makes me feel like a better baseball player than at the facility. Bring the joy back to baseball.

    — Shea Pekarek, Concordia St. Paul, St. Louis Park HS

  • I have become a skilled, successful and educated athlete throughout the years. This has been possible through all of the staff at Macstrength. The new facility is amazing and I love that their are more instructors around to talk to and ask for advice. My results have gone through the roof since the last two years, a big part of that is because of all the strength trading I do and all of the exercises I need to do in order for my body to run smoothly. I have learned a substantial amount from the pitching coach/chiropractor at Macstrength, Alex Twenge. Zach Elder and Twenge are miracle workers, i’ll tell ya.

    — Brock Anderson, Concordia Moorehead, Eden Prairie HS

  • I have really enjoyed the personal attention and small group attention from all the coaches over the years at MacStrength. Knowing that there’s so many different people I can go to about questions whether it’s baseball related or not. I’ve also really liked the strength specific programs and I’ve seen both my lifts and baseball specific movements getting better. As well as the support from you guys during the recruiting process and helping me grow into the man I am today.

    — Aiden Pfeifer, UW Superior, Eden Prairie HS

  • The coaches are very knowledgeable about the game and show a vested interest in your development. The players are all friendly and really push each other. The weight lifting is very well put together and you can feel a difference. You not only learn how to move put what to think when you are in the box and field.

Ethan Schmitz, St. Louis Park HS

  • The atmosphere is great because you get a ton of guys from all different schools and age groups and they all share the same goal of wanting to get better. In terms of results, I put 5 mph on my fastball in about 4 weeks working with Alex in the pitcher's program. I also learned a lot about my own pitching mechanics as well as great plyo and arm care routines.

    — Dave Scheil, St. Olaf College

  • Outstanding group of instructors that are excellent mentors in baseball but more importantly in life. A true feeling that the staff is invested in the kids and not just a business model to make money. MacStrength is a true customer based group that values their clients. I have not seen that at many clubs.

    — Chris Johnson, Hopkins MN

  • The coaching is something Ive never experienced before. All the coaches have taught me how to be a better player and person in general. Also my understanding of my body and swing has improved a lot since I started. I have learned how to make adjustments on my own and I feel very advanced for my age in that category.

    — Ted McCarren, St. Louis Park HS

  • What is great about the MacStrength program is they give you everything you need to succeed. Joining this amazing program is like being in a baseball family. Everyone from the coaches to fellow players are awesome and push you to be better. I gained a lot of strength and got very strong which benefited me on the field tremendously my Junior and especially Senior year.
